As the LA Times points out Lionsgate didn’t even disclose the ticket sales info, so we can’t actually gauge how badly it did. But Perez Hilton reports that ‘LOL’ only made $46,000 across the 105 cinemas it screened at, which is less than half what Cyrus recently paid for this car.
‘LOL’ was actually a remake of this 2008 French film, which looks slightly better, but then again, everything seems smarter in French:
