Finally I can say I no longer give a good goddamn about Irish politics Irish politicians nor all their corruption dishonesty pretensions lies and so forth. It’s a great big interesting world out here and Ireland is a very small little dot in it. And what the hell does a province of a superstate need a president nor all the expense and pomp of same for? It’d be like electing a President for Cavan back in the days when ye were a sovereign independent Republic worth the name. Tch. Get over yerselves. Work, slaves, work. Pay off the gambling debts of yer masters. Tch.

If ye’d any sense of dignity or propriety ye’d dispense with all this ‘Irish’ President nonsense shut down the Viceregal lodge to save costs or at least close off all but a bedroom and kitchenette and let Mr Chopra stay there instead. Save his hotel bills. Which’ll only get added on to the 200 billion ye owe anyway.

    • Rita Cahill says:

Why can;t the People of Ireland Elect The president that we want to go in, instead of politicians electing one of there own like FG , and maybe given them too much power,

    • Liam Mullen says:

Our intentions are simple, we will show that we are not a little DOT and make a big splash and turn our banks over to the people who lent the money to them in the first place, never before was so much at stahe as now. ECB, eat your heart out. As for election of a President, lets reincarnate “dustin”

      We’ll see who laughing then
