• Swedish House Mafia and friends at the Phoenix Park

  As spotted by OTR reader Ciaran, we can expect a big dance bill at Dublin’s Phoenix Park next July with Swedish House Mafia, Snoop Dogg, Tinie Tempah, Calvin Harris and many more. The ticket link for the show has been removed, but full details are expected to be announced by MCD in the coming days.

  UPDATE: OTR readers FTW every time. This show is now confirmed for July 7 and tickets, priced at €59.50 (plus TM ducking and diving), go on sale next Friday from the link above.

• The Jezabels, Dublin, May

  The Jezabels, who made their Irish debut at last year’s Electric Picnic, play Dublin’s Button Factory on May 19. Tickets for this one will be €14 (plus TM gravy). The band’s new album “Prisoner” is released on March 2 and you can read an interview with them (and our guide to other new Aussie acts to watch out for) in The Ticket on Friday.

  

• Wilco to play Forbidden Fruit festival

  Word from our Windy City sources last night that Wilco will play on the Monday night at the Forbidden Fruit festival in Dublin over the June bank holiday weekend (June 2 to 4). They join the previously announced Factory Floor (who also play Dublin’s Banquet club at Tripod on Saturday week) and Grimes on the bill. Full line-up and ticket information to be announced next week.
