If it’s the Irish summer, you can be sure of two things. One, the weather is “mixed”. And two, there is a festival of some shape or other happening in your town or county. Be it music or arts, the number of Irish festivals seems to multiply every single year. So what does it take to keep a festival on track and financially upright in the long-run? I spoke to the people behind Make A Move, the Junction festival, Drop Everything and Hard Working Class Heroes about what they’ve found out about running their events.
