The voice of Hot Chocolate has died at the age of 71

Another great voice has departed the stage. Errol Brown, Hot Chocolate’s voice of distinction, has died at the age of 71 at home in the Bahamas. He had been suffering from liver cancer for the past while. The Jamaica-born singer and his band had a colourful career, including getting signed to The Beatles’ Apple label back in the day after John Lennon heard and liked their reggae version of “Give Peace A Chance”.
