Here are the latest New Music selections from the On The Record column in tomorrow’s edition of The Ticket. Please feel free to share tips below or check out all past New Music selections here.

Silk Rhodes

Minimalist soul freakery and rebel r’n’b for the Stones Throw heads in the audience from Baltimore duo Sasha Winn and Michael Collins. Tracks like “Pain” and “Face 2 Float” are bass-first boom tunes, full of low-slung sonic bumps and high-velocity small hours’ whispers.

French Royalty

“Chicago” from Los Angeles-based, Boston duo Paige Califano and Josh Story is a delight, an electronic pop thriller full of low-slung drama and moody vibes. We’re particularly taken with former Berklee College of Music student Califano’s vocals and Story’s subtle, on-point production. Also check out previous track “Daggers” for similar spacey vibes

The three London sisters who make up Jagaara are probably more than ready for the Haim references and comparisons. Jane, Ruth and Cat Edmondson are already creating sturdy, robust tunes like “Faultline” and “In the Night” which sound as if they’ll stand up to a lot of embellishment and adornment in time.
