Here are the latest New Music selections from the On The Record column in tomorrow’s edition of The Ticket. Please feel free to share tips below or check out all past New Music selections here.

Anna of the North

Norwegian newcomer impresses hugely with debut single “Sway” for Brooklyn label Honeymoon. It’s a blissful, exotic slice of electro-noir, all dark shadows and dreamy, moody sonic feints. Check out her collaboration with Little Dreamer on “Since You Got On” for another side of her sound.

Arty electropop from New Zealand with big hooks between the bleeps is the lot of Doprah. The Christchurch-based duo of Steven Marr and Indira Force have been turning heads in recent weeks with spooked-out, glitchy pop weirdos like “Stranger People” and “San Pedro”

London producer Andy Smith has been making waves with his brand of on-point house music. With tunes like “We Do” and “Never Love” getting the thumbs up from Disclosure and the Kitsune label, it’s clear Smith is a blue chip tip for the future. New “Playground” EP for Greco-Roman is full of bright-as-a-button moments, especially “Raid”
