Here are the latest New Music selections from the On The Record column in tomorrow’s edition of The Ticket. Please feel free to share tips below or check out all past New Music selections here.

Greys

Artful, righteous and visceral punk rock from the young Toronto four-piece blowing the dust off the speakers this weather with debut album “If Anything” on Carpark. A sound with real spirit, verve and heartfelt noise.

Liu Bei

London-based band named after an ancient Chinese warlord and taking their sound from the slow-shuffle pop world. Forthcoming single “Infatuation” for Transgressive offshoot ParadYse is a moody, dreamy, epic rush of sound and sensitivity for those looking for a new pop obsession.

Airling

From Brisbane, Hannah Shepherd is doing ear-catching things with lush vocals and dreamy electronics. Lots of positive notices from her recent support tour down under with James Vincent McMorrow too.
