Here are the latest New Music selections from the On The Record column in tomorrow’s edition of The Ticket. Please feel free to share tips below or check out all past New Music selections here.

Lorde isn’t the only teen from lands down under making a splash. Imogen Jones is a 15 year old from Sydney with a superbly intuitive sense of what it takes to make an alt-pop tune. “Infinite Colour”, “The Creature” and “Starved” are your introductory pointers to the classically trained violinist’s fascinating folktronica world.

Lonely the Brave

From Cambridge, Lonely the Brave are five serious young men making epic, skyscraping, big music full of interesting shades, hardcore nuances and majestic riffs. New EP “Backroads” is where to go to find out more about them.

Lolo is Lauren Pritchard, the Jackson, Tennessee singer with a chequered history involving everyone and everything from Lisa Marie Presley to Broadway shows to a so-so debut album. As Lolo, Pritchard is far more edgier and artier, with tracks like “Year Round Summer of Love” full of huge pop potential.
