Here are the latest New Music selections from the On The Record column in tomorrow’s edition of The Ticket. Please feel free to share tips below or check out all past New Music selections here.

Chance the Rapper

Chicago boyo working up a fantastic head of steam on his new “Acid Rap” mixtape with appearances from Ab-Soul, Action Bronson Childish Gambino and tons more. About to tour with Kendrick Lamar and decide which major label cheque to cash. As tipped by OTR reader Conor McDevitt.

Sinead Harnett

The London-based Irish-Thai singer is very much in demand this weather, appearing on bona-fide box-office tracks by Rudimental and Disclosure. Her own debut single “Got Me” is also worth your time and attention, a glorious punch of modern pop-house produced by Eats Everything and Lukas.

The Preatures

“Is This How You Feel?” will have you adding the Sydney-based band to your hype list. It’s old-fashioned, swaggering, rock and funk-noir with just the right hints of soul and blues grooves, from a band with considerable playing smarts and a dynamic frontwoman in Isabella Manfredi.
