Here are the latest New Music selections from the On The Record column in tomorrow’s edition of The Ticket. Please feel free to share tips below or check out all past New Music selections here.

The Jungle Giants

Youthful Brisbane four-piece specialising in cute-as-a-button pop with great hooks and infectious melodies. “You’ve Got Something” is a track to write home about and one which tees things up nicely for their soon-come debut album.

Tove Lo

More Scando pop magnificence in the shape of Stockholm singer Tove Lo making cutting-edge new-school bangers like “Habits” and “Love Ballad”. It’s a safe bet that her nights playing Swedish dive bars with a rock band are well and truly over.

Exit Introvert

Dubliner Chris Guilfoyle may be best known for his jazz guitar prowess and work with groups like Umbra, but Exit Introvert is where Guilfoyle heads off in a more electronic fashion. Big bang of old-school drum’n’bass from tracks like “Passing Time”.
