Here are the latest New Music selections from the On The Record column in today’s edition of The Ticket. Please feel free to share tips below or check out all past New Music selections here.

Kid Astray

Bright, breezy and bouncy indie-pop from the six-strong teen band from Oslo. “The Mess” sounds majestic, a track which is going to sound great on your radio or booming from a festival stage next summer.

Entertainment

Some really smart and infectious tunes to date from London band Entertainment, especially the huge “Moving In the Right Way”, mark them as ones to watch. Huge potential alongside the strong My Bloody Valentine/shoegaze influences.

Anderson

Many will recall Daniel Anderson from his work with now defunct Dublin band The Rags and new solo material from him is now starting to appea. Debut single “History” is a beautifully emotional and striking calling card, while her version Tim Hardin’s “Reason to Believe” is quite marvellous.
