That’s right: a weekend pass for you and your best mate (or someone who is going to be your best mate when you tell them) for the upcoming Beatyard Festival at Dublin’s Twisted Pepper and Bernard Shaw venues over the October Bank Holiday Weekend. That means you (and your plus one) will be able to see a monster list of acts for FREE, a list which includes the following

Laurel Halo (a potential gig of the year on Thursday October 25 at the Twisted Pepper – “Quarantine” is one of the albums of 2012 and you can hear tracks from it below)
Annie Mac (the Dublin DJ at BBC Radio One who will be plugging her latest “Annie Mac Presents” compilation on October 25 – look out for an interview with her in The Ticket on Friday)
Pearson Sound
Matthew Herbert
Submotion Orchestra
Apparat
Craig Charles
(yes, that’s Craig Charles the actor lad from Coronation Street and Red Dwarf, who also presents a top-drawer funk and soul show on BBC 6 Music. We need a BBC 6 Music-like station over here, stat)
Krystal Klear
Donato Dozzy
Terror Danjah
Nighthawks
OCHO
Chatham Saxophone Quartet
Le Galaxie
Dublin Afrobeat Ensemble
Eat My Shorts Film Fest
Sweet Jane
Eleanor Tiernan
The Last Days of 1984
All City
Forward/Slash Nightmall
A Tribute To Prince
(hosted by 12Sundays and featuring Bantum – whose “Legion” debut album is now available here – Adultrock, Hystereo, TR One and the 12 DJs)
Ships
Bantum
TR-One
The Eatyard (hosted by the Big Blue Bus & Coffee Together)

Out of “Quarantine”: Laurel Halo plays Dublin’s Twisted Pepper on Thursday October 25

Full day-by-day line-up here. You can also work out how much you’ll save if you win by adding up all the ticket prices and multiplying the figure by two. We were never great at the aul’ maths.

To win this prize – and please note, this is the ONLY competition you will find on or offline where weekend passes are up for grabs – simply tell us in the comments below who you would add to the bill and, if you feel like it, why they’d fit the bill. As simple as that. Competition runs until Thursdy at midnight and I’ll announce the winner on Friday morning.
