This is when we’re supposed to stop complaining about how “weak” the line up is and instead moan about all the clashes, yeah?

    Hey folks,
Have turned the main stage times (plus Salty Dog, Bacardi and Arcadia) into a Glasto style clashfinder. Send me other stages as you get them.

One hour fifteen minutes seems a bit short for Arcade Fire. I know it’s probably the difference of three songs and the most anyone usually gets at EP is 90 minutes, but for THE headline act of the weekend, it doesn’t seem like a lot. Also, are Interpol considered a real headline act? Maybe I’m just woefully out of the loop on that one, but I’d definitely have Polly Jean on after them. Though I don’t know why I’m even here, it’s not like I can afford to go this year or anything.

Saturday is a bit sticky for clashes isn’t it? Maybe it’s just me but John Grant & James Blake, Yuck & Lykke Li (and Midlake!) and a few more… Any sign of the Body & Soul timetable?

Beergutz @ 5 – if Tipp beat Kilkenny, I’m gonna celebrate by doing some stagediving at Mogwai

Mick @ 8 – that’s what they do be calling the irony

    Eoin @ 10 – give us a call on 0818 719300 and we’ll sort you out

Kevin @ 12 – B&S timetable coming soon (but so is Christmas). Someone thought the Dublin hurlers would be busy on the Sunday and so they have to reshift the whole schedule now that that didn’t happen. Will have it here early next week

So Twin Shadow are a hipsters act, first I heard. I enjoyed em at Field Day it has to be said, for the 20 or so mins they were on.

    Some nasty clashes:

    PJ/Santigold
    Jimmy Cliff/The Rapture
    Lykke Li/Midlake/Yuck
    Flying Lotus/The Walkmen/Chems
    Zola Jesus/CYHSY/Pulp/Mogwai

But that be the nature of Festivals.

ShowYourBones – some weird timings and stage placings too – Grouplove on at 1.15pm in the small Cosby stage? Retarded Cop on above Midlake? James Blake on main stage?

My oh-no clash is the Unthanks, D/R/U/G/G/S and Everything Everything on at the same time as the hurling final.

But, as you say, that’s the nature of these events and why the 15 minute rule was invented.

Whats the 15 min rule then? Yeah, noticed Grouplove, wasn’t aware they were playing until the times came out. James Blake might be a tad lost in the wide open space, definitely an indoor kinda guy. It’s the strongest main stage lineup that I can recall though. And DOUBLE F**K, no FF, should really have went to see them at Field Day/Primavera.
