It’s official (though OTR readers and the dogs on the street guessed this weeks ago): Foo Fighters are the first headliners confirmed for Oxegen 2011 which takes place from July 7 to 11 at Punchestown Racecourse, Co Kildare.

The reason for the confirmation? Early bird tickets go on sale on Wednesday. Prices are €179.50 (three day non-camping), €199.50 (three day with camping) and €219.50 (four day with camping). Full price tickets will be €199.50, €224.50 and €244.50 respectively. All above ticket prices do NOT include Ticketmaster fees.

Other Oxegen rumours: we’re hearing that Lady Gaga, Black-Eyed Peas, Blink 182 and Pulp may also be heading to Punchestown Racecourse next summer.

UPDATE: Arctic Monkeys and, as predicted, Blink 182 are now also on the bill.
