This week’s essential tunes on the OTR jukebox. Please feel free to add your own selections below.

LCD Soundsystem “London Sessions” (DFA)

Remind yourself just how good LCD Soundsystem were last weekend in Dublin with this “live” album recorded earlier in the year in London’s Pool Studio.

Illdependents “For What Died” (Secret)

From 1997 but apt for the horrendous week we’ve had, Galway’s Hazo sets Luke Kelly’s stirring “For What Died the Sons of Roisin” against a slo-mo hip-hop background.

Girls “Broken Dreams Club” (True Panther)

Six slices of pristine, intoxicating, tender heartbreak pop from Christopher Owens and friends on this lush mini-album.

Clipse “Lord Willin’” (Star Trak/Arista)

Pusha T and Malice’s state-of-the-hood address from 2002 comes with production nips and tucks from the Neptunes and still sounds remarkably fresh.

Prins Thomas “Prins Thomas” (Full Pupp)

One of the delights of 2010, Norwegian producer Thomas Moen Hermansen’s album is a trippy wash of deep house, disco, stoner rock, prog, Krautrock and Balearic wigouts.
