Hour one is actually hour two over on Phantom Jim. I am sure people will realise, but just so you know, they are labelled wrong

Great show. Just finished listening to it. Tensnake ‘Coma Cat’ is the very definition of a choon. Had to find it after I was done. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7KEve9Eqew could listen to it over and over

I see the Phantom stream has a little “licenced by IMRO LOEL” notice on the bottom of it. Still suspicious of how that should apply to blogs, but good to see it’s being put to constructive use!

Hey Jim, there should be a marked increase in the amount of people listening to the show thanks to the stream. I’ve listened to last week’s show 3/4 times now throughout last week at my pleasure and I’d imagine I’ll be doing the same each week as it’s MUCH BETTER to be listening to the show during working hours to avoid the usual day time programming which is not to my taste.

Still not convinced enough to jump on the Monae bandwagon just yet tho!

JC – you mean you’re swapping the delights of Ray Darcy, Tony Fenton, Ray Foley, Rick O’Shea, Will Leahy and any other radio presenter you care to mention for two hours of banging new and old tunes from someone who talks too fast? Jaysus! I can’t wait to see the next JNLR figures….

You’ll become a believer once you see Monae at large on the Body & Soul stage at the Electric Picnic

Fitzy – I hear from from my impeccable sources that she’s doing TWO gigs at EP inc Body & Soul. She may also be performing at half-time in the All-Ireland hurling – yeah, another miracle alongside Shefflin’s recovery.

petee – it’s another banger from down under – the amount of great acts I’ve come across in the last 6-12 months from Oz or NZ is astonishing.

Really enjoy the show Jim. Its great for this culchie to be able to stream it at work.

Any Janelle Monae doubters should listen to the album from start to finish. Then you’ll get it. I think a lot of the songs are ordinary enough in isolation, but as a unit, the album is fantastic.
