The Ticket: there’s now an app for that
Jim Carroll
Tomorrow morning at 9am, The Ticket app for the iPhone will go live at the Apple App Store. It will be free of charge and give users access to The Ticket’s music and movies’ news, reviews and features. Check it out tomorrow and, as if OTR readers needed to be asked, tell us what you think.

excellent…looking forward to adding it to my favorites…
Any plans for apps for the non iPhone users amongst us?
@2 Seconded, an Android one would be wonderful..
Deadly. Glad to hear it!
blackberry bah humbug
Cool. I can’t wait, looking forward to it. Will it have the OTR blog also?
Looking forward to seeing this on other platforms (android/blackberry). But good luck with this app OTR.
Looking forward to this, but no sign of it as yet…
Rob – patience! We’re on Apple time here

Nice one! yet another reason to get an iPhone…
Lutin – you’ve still got that iRiver too, right?
@Jim
*hangs head in shame* Yes, yes I do.
It’s nice! Well done all those involved.
Any chance of a paid version without the ads for a mobile phone company?
just downloaded it now – but i couldnt download it using my finnish itunes account, only with my american itunes account… any reason for the georestriction?
darren.
Conor/Darren – will pass on those points – and any other issues raised here – to The Powers That Be
Looks good so far. The V***fone pop ups are a bit annoying but entirely understandable so I’ll get over it! A much welcomed app. Any chance of an actual tab for OTR itself?
Darren @ 16 – that has been looked into and there’s now no geographical restrictions on the app – can be downloaded and used from anywhere.
Any chance of getting the theatre and visual art content included on the app? There are many of us who are interested in more than just film and music and gaming.
It would be helpful if the name of the reviewer was published with the review.
Good to see:
app crashes when I go to music though.
niall – yep, we found that out. Delete the application and re-install and that problem seems to go away.
