Yes, we have another new blog on the block.
The Irish Times politics blog will feature contributions from some of the paper’s political staff including Deaglán de Breadun, Mark Hennessy and long-time blogger Harry McGee. It’s now open for business.
I’m only coming back when they scrap the print edition of the paper.

WHO, in IT HQ, sanctioned the new radio ad.? It’s a real ’switch off that ad’ ad ! God only knows what possesses ‘executives’ to pass out ads that damage image rather than promote sales.
Bren L - I’m sure some of the advertising gurus who read On The Record will have a different spin on that ad. Personally, as with all ads, I do my level best to ignore it/them
