The mobile market just got a new operator, with the launch of eMobile.
I can trace a lot of pivotal moments in my life through games. From the first time I ever got my hands on one (Space Invaders and Asteroids in the Dalkey Island Hotel) to this very moment in time, I’ve been hopelessly addicted.

It’s been flagged for a while, but yesterday, Blackberry maker Research In Motion unveiled its challenger to the iPad. Say hello to the RIM PlayBook.
I can’t tell you how excited these make me. Probably far more than they should considering I’m supposed to be 1) sensible and 2) a grown-up.
But anyway. In the event that I was neither, I’d currently be coveting one of these USB sticks. Star Wars-themed Storm Trooper USB sticks. The lids are customised to look like helmets. The alternative is the character’s hair.
The trend recently has been for large screens and touch capable phones. Sony Ericsson has bucked at least part of this trend with the diminutive Xperia mini handsets.
So after a brief period of less than regualr activity (for various reasons, far too dull to get into here), my new resolution is to update this more regularly. Honestly.
Let’s see how this goes.
