App of the week: Micoach goes mobile
Another fitness application has launched for mobiles, but it’s not just limited to iPhones. The Adidas Micoach app is available for the iPhone, but can also be downloaded to Blackberry devices.
It uses GPS to track your runs, like iMapMyRun, but it also provides some coaching feedback. You can choose from conditioning programmes for specific sports, or run at your own pace. When you’re finished, you can wirelessly synch it with the micoach website, which will store all the details of your exercise, so you can track your speed, distance etc.
