World Cup predictions, EA style
EA has used its technology to make some predictions for the upcoming World Cup. Dangerous territory, considering anything could happen in the coming weeks.
But if they’re correct, Spain will be the ones to lift the trophy on July 11th. The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa video game predicts a Brazil/Spain final, with the Spanish team winning 3-1.
It doesn’t stop there, however. It says England will win the third place game 2-1 over Argentina. Hosts South Africa will be the first to be booted out of the competition, according to its simulations. Spain’s David Villa will take the Golden Boot with seven goals, and Kaka will be the Golden Ball winner.
And in case you’re wondering, France will get dumped out in the quarter finals after losing 2-1 to England.
Check back after it’s all over to see how accurate they were.
