Dell’s latest Inspiron

There are very few things that can get me excited about a laptop these days. Netbooks made them ultra-portable and affordable. Apple made them fashionable. Widescreen multimedia machines – seen it all before.
So it’s a tough audience for Dell and its latest Inspiron 15 laptop.
I’ll reserve judgment until I lay hands on one. But going on the specs, it seems like a decent effort from Dell. Up to a 320Gb hard drive, 4GB of Ram and Intel Core Duo processors. The 15.6-inch wide screen doesn’t do much for me, but the facial recognition security is enough to get my gimmick anntenae twitching. And a Blu-Ray drive is available as an option if you’re interested. Dell’s site
