Innovation can be complex but entry to the Innovation Awards is easy. Entries should be based on an operational, service or product innovation introduced into the target market in the period between January 1st 2011 and the December 17th 2012 The innovation may be business and/or customer and/or society focused, and its impact should be proven and measurable in qualitative and quantitative terms.

REGISTER YOUR INTEREST

To register for the competition, you will need to provide us with some information about your organisation to ensure you are eligible. Once you have registered,  you will be able to start completing your application online. You will also be able to download a PDF of the Terms & Conditions.

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FORM

Once you have registered your interest, you will be able to gain access to the application form, which you can complete online.  All applications forms must be submitted by 5pm on Monday 3 rd December 2012.

SELECTION PROCESS

After the closing date at 5pm on Monday 3 rd December 2012, all application forms will pass through an initial screening process. They will then be read and marked by leading industry experts before the short-listed organisations are announced in mid-January 2013.

FINAL JUDGING PROCESS

In mid-February 2013, short-listed organisations will be invited to present their Innovation to our final judging panel. Each short-listed organisation will be allocated a 10 minute presentation slot followed by a 5 minute Q &A session with the judges

AWARDS CEREMONY

Following the presentation day, one winner will be selected from each of the 6 categories together with an overall Innovation of the Year. The best North South collaboration award will also be chosen at the final judging day.

All winners will be announced at the closing ceremony,  which will be held at the exciting new Titanic  building in Belfast on Friday 22 nd March 2013

HOW TO ENTER

If you would like to register your interest in the 2013 Innovation Awards, please click on the link below and you will be asked to complete a registration form. You will be required to provide your name, organisation information and contact details. You will then be able to gain access to the application form, which is to be completed online. The form can be saved as you go along, to facilitate completion at a time that suits you. Register here.

You will be able to send us a small amount of additional information (e.g. pictures of your innovation) in one document, saved in PDF format only. The file size should be no more than 8mb and should be emailed directly to innovationawards@irishtimes.com. Please clearly state your organisation name in the subject of your email.
