If your Innovation spans several categories, choose the category which best describes your Innovation. If the judges feel that your application fits best in a different category, they will move you to this category and notify you of the change.

For those who can demonstrate innovation in development and delivery of BioMed and Life Science solutions.
The Greentech Innovation category is open to those who can demonstrate innovation in development of product/service solutions for the environment.
Business Services Innovation
This category will profile the development of commercial services which help organisations increase the operational efficiency of day to day business processes and encompassing one of more of the following:
- Speed of work flow
- Accuracy of process outcomes
- Improved planning and scheduling
- Cost reduction
This category aims to recognise the positive contribution of innovation in the development and delivery of products and/or services with wider social impact, for example:
- Lifestyle e.g. consumer, household & entertainment products, health & fitness, training/career development, retailing, fashion
- Community & Public Services e.g. education, healthcare, recreation and transport
- Travel, Tourism & Leisure
- Social connectivity & interaction
Creative Industries Innovation
Specifically reflecting the increasing importance of the creative industries towards the island’s economic recovery, this category will look at commercial product or service innovation within the fields of : advertising; architecture; the arts and antique market; crafts; design; designer fashion; film and video; interactive leisure software; music; performing arts; publishing; software and computer services; and radio and television.
