After three years, more than 1,000 posts and 500 emigrant voices stories written by Irish people scattered around the world, the Generation Emigration blog is growing into a larger section and moving to a new location on irishtimes.com.

From now on, you will find the latest Generation Emigration content on the Life & Style page, rather than in the Blogs section. To access it, click on the Life & Style dropdown:

On the new page, we’ll be bringing together more news and features about Irish life abroad from other sections of the site, publishing a series of new destination guides for Irish emigrants (with input from our readers in these locations), and highlighting some of the best content from the archive.

And we’ll continue to feature your stories from around the world – the most popular aspect of the blog – in the Emigrant Voices section. To contribute one yourself, email emigration@irishtimes.com.

You can read more about what’s in store for readers on the new site and our reasons for expanding it here.

We know a lot of readers are still accessing older blog posts, and they can all still be found here (there’s also a link to the archive on the new page).

Once again we’d like to say thanks to everyone who has contributed to Generation Emigration over the years, and to all the loyal readers who continue to follow it online and in print.
