‘Irishman Abroad’ episode 2: Ed Byrne

Comedian gives his advice for young emigrants in the second installment of Jarlath Regan’s podcast series

Wed, Aug 28, 2013, 20:18

Ed Byrne features in the second installment of Jarlath Regan’s ‘Irishman Abroad’ podcast series, talking about reinventing himself in Scotland, Irish accents, student politics and his advice for young emigrants: “If you move abroad and things don’t work out, don’t be afraid to move back home again.”

And Jarlath sets the record straight about the name of the show – the ‘Irishman Abroad’ is himself, and yes, he does intend to interview Irish women also.

The ‘Irishman Abroad’ podcasts are free to download on iTunes. The first episode features television comedy writer and director Graham Linehan.
