As Ronan McGreevy reports in The Irish Times today, preliminary results from the UCC Emigre Project show that a large proportion of people who have left Ireland recently do not expect to return.

Of the 700 emigrants surveyed so far, just 21 per cent said it was likely they would return to live in Ireland within the next three years.

Do you think you will move back to Ireland? Have your plans or expectations changed since you left originally, and if so, has this been a result of personal or economic factors? Let us know in the comments section below.
