The Irish Times forum by and for Irish citizens living overseas,

Have your say: did you watch Katie’s victory?

In today’s discussion we want to know where, how and with who you watched Katie Taylor’s victory yesterday. Did it make you proud to be Irish?

Ireland is still basking in the glory of Katie Taylor’s victory in the ExCel Arena against Russia’s Sofya Ochigava yesterday. The Irish Times Olympics Liveblog was inundated with messages wishing Katie good luck from the Irish around the world before the match, and today we want to hear whether you watched it. Where were you? Did you watch it online or in an Irish bar for example? Were you alone or with other Irish people?  How did her victory make you feel?

International media reports of Katie’s fights have been great (and not so great) – was her victory yesterday reported where you live?

Have you watched other Irish atheletes competing in the Olympics?
