July and August are the holiday months for many in Ireland -  have friends and family landed at your door abroad recently?

This week in the discussion forum we want to hear about your experience of hosting folks from home, what you did while they were here, and how you felt after they left. Does seeing them sate your homesickness, or make you miss Ireland more than ever? Perhaps showing others around the area that you have come to call home gives you a newfound appreciation for where you now live? What does their visit give them?

If you’ve hosted other Irish emigrants while they are looking for a place to live or are en route to another destination, we’d also like to hear about it. Share your experiences in the comments section below.
