People have been sleeping in their cars overnight outside the Silver Springs Hotel in Cork where a jobs and emigration fair takes place today. More than 12,000 people attended the Working Abroad Expo at the RDS in Dublin at the weekend, with organisers having to turn those who had not pre-registered away.
Online tickets for the Cork event have already sold out, but a limited number of tickets will be available at the door. The event takes place from 12pm-7pm, and tickets cost €10.
The exhibition will host more than 50 employers, recruitment agencies, visa specialists, and relocation experts. Government Immigration Officials will also be available to provide information on skilled migration visas, working holidays and overseas employment opportunities.
