Brian O’Connell, a regular Irish Times contributor, is making a radio documentary series about Irish newspapers overseas and their readers, and is looking to connect with emigrants in London, New York and Sydney.

Home News >From Abroad will be a 5-part series for RTE Radio One funded through the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland.

It will focus on several publications including Irish Voice in New York, Irish Echo in Sydney, Irish News in Belfast and Irish Post in London, and Brian is looking to speak with their readers, old and new.

He would also be interested in speaking with people who use new ways to keep in touch with news from home, through websites such as The Irish Times Generation Emigration series, or WorldIrish.com.

If you are living in Sydney, London or New York and are available to meet with Brian when he visits between now and June, you can contact him at oconnellbr@yahoo.com or through Twitter @oconnellbrian.
