http://www.irishtimes.com/blogs/gallery/files/2013/01/graniawillis630.jpgMountaineer Grania Willis and Ian McKeever, the first Irish climbers to reach the summit of the 4,884m Indonesian peak Carstensz Pyramid, which was the fourth of McKeever’s climbs in his Ulster Bank Seven Summits world record bid. McKeever broke the world record for the fastest ascent of the seven highest mountains on all seven continents by a full month at the end of June 2007 when he reached the summit of Mount McKinley in Alaska, slicing 31 days off the previous record of 187 days set by Canadian Daniel Griffith in November 2006.
