Vacation – the spring summer collection from Lennon/Courtney

The eponymous label from two of Ireland’s top stylists-turned-designers welcomes the summer with some sweet seasonal shades

Summer lovin’ seems to have had stylists-slash-designers Sonya Lennon and Brendan Courtney ablast, if Lennon/Courtney‘s latest collection, “Vacation”, is anything to go by. Inspired by “sunshine, weekend getaways and country escapes”, we’re talking a core palette of muted tones in silk, cashmere and something called “stretch canvas” that I am mightily curious to investigate.

My personal hopes mainly focus on fit: I’ve loved previous Lennon/Courtney collections but haven’t found that they loved my, um, lady parts quite as much – and I’ve found the arms on some of the shell tops particularly restrictive. But the duo promised me that future collections would be cut more generously, so watch this space!

In a good ol’ Irish-abroad story, the label will launch in the UK this season, in Wolf & Badger in Notting Hill. In the Republic, you can shop Lennon/Courtney in Arnotts, Harvey Nichols, Kilkenny and more retailers nationwide.
