News just in! & Other Stories adds Irish delivery

Hide your credit cards – H&M’s older, cooler & Other Stories will soon be delivering to Ireland

& Other Stories isn’t news in and of itself; H&M’s luxury line launched in 2013 with a series of concept stores around Europe. If you’re unsure what I mean by “concept store”, take a look at the flagship store on Regent St. We’re talking cosmetics, books, a shoe department in which every single pair of shoes is amazing (that is a guarantee).

More than content, though, it’s about layout: & Other Stories takes several of its cues from Urban Outfitters, displaying its wares in an industrial space, with mood boards and trend inspiration adorning its walls. But don’t expect “trendy”, per se; though & Other Stories’ clothing is very, very cool, it doesn’t follow trends in the same fashion (if you’ll excuse the pun) as, say, River Island and Topshop. It’s Scandinavian (think minimalist, angular silhouettes, very little focus on bodycon or figure-hugging fabrics) with a high-fashion edge.

Until now, Irish shoppers have had to either travel for & Other Stories, or use the services of Parcel Motel (useful, but not ideal). But just this morning & Other Stories announced that it’s adding Ireland to its list of deliverable-to destinations. Good news for fashion-lovers, bad news for their wallets. The exact date will be announced soon on & Other Stories’ Facebook page.
