Miista and more from Folkster A/W 2013

Kilkenny-based Folkster has a seriously cool selection for A/W 2013

If y’all don’t know about Folkster, you’ve been living under some kind of anti-fashion rock (in which case, what are you doing here?!). It’s the online brainchild of the folks behind Shutterbug (warning: serious wallet-burning imminent), the huuuuuugely successful Kilkenny vintage store, which is based in a beautiful converted bank and has the best selection of vintage clobber this side of Amsterdam.

For A/W 2013, Folkster is fully stocked with Jeffrey Campbell, Miista, UNIF and Sister Jane clothing as well as Folkster’s own carefully selected edit (check out the €44.99 dress on Irish hipster* moddle Lauren Bejouai, above).

The shoes you see up top are, clockwise from top left: the iridescent patent Maia, €174; the paint Zoe, €169; the Pandora, €174; and the iridescent Zoe, €169, all by Miista.

There’s no denying Folkster’s selection is seriously cool – perhaps too cool for school if you wore ‘em head to toe, but I’d be dipping in and out for some edgy accents to my otherwise pedestrian day-to-day style. You like what you see?
