Peruzzi goes to Paris for A/W
Irish label Peruzzi went to the city of love to shoot its A/W lookbook – check out the results
Peruzzi may not be a brand with which you are overly familiar, but it will definitely be one you’ve heard of – it’s one of Ireland’s biggest export brands, sold in 21 countries and in Ireland in independent boutiques such as Choice, Meadows & Byrne and Carraig Donn.

Peruzzi clothes are designed specifically with the over-35s in mind which, when you think about it, is a smart stroke - fashion so often seems to exclude women over a certain age, catering only for them in certain categories: maternity wear, mother-of-the-bride clothing, control swimsuits and dresses with sleeves (hello, Per Una).

The A/W lookbook, which was shot in location in Paris – can’t you tell? – really shows the versatility of Peruzzi’s pieces, and also manages to present a collection for over-35s that isn’t in any way mumsy, while simultaneously managing to avoid the common whack of mutton-dressed-as-lamb.

A lot of the pieces in the lookbook really appeal to me as wardrobe staples – and the little shots of colour here and there provide a nice counterpoint to the otherwise neutral tones.
