Benefit and Matthew Williamson pair up for pretty palette

The latest release from Benefit is designed by UK designer Matthew Williamson, and features new eyeshadows as well as the bestselling They’re Real mascara

I feel as if the past year has been a whirlwind for Benefit (and I don’t even work there) – launching product after product with little time for rest or recuperation. So in a way, I wouldn’t blame you for getting Benefit fatigue: surely there are only so many good products one brand can release in a year?

Because a lot of these products are really, really good: They’re Real is the world’s bestselling mascara; the Porefessional is, hands down, the best primer out there at that price; Dallas is still my number one bronzer.

My personal jury’s out on this latest release, The Rich is Back, a limited-edition palette designed by Matthew Williamson and available this Saturday, with a price of €37. I love the look of the eyeshadows, but lip glosses in general leave me cold, and I have enough They’re Reals – thanks to Glamour magazine and various other box palettes – to last me a lifetime.

What about you – will you be putting your money where Benefit’s mouth is?
