Shiny, summery accessories from Alex + Ani

Hip new accessories brand Alex + Ani has gone bright for summer, with some juicy shades of stacking bracelet, from €26

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the past six months, you’ll have heard of Alex and Ani, the “positive energy” accessories brand that’s zoomed in from the US and been gaining popularity in Ireland with its standalone counter in Arnotts.

I’ve been wearing mine in Russian gold and silver varieties with various charms – my favourites are the Seven Swords and Path of Life versions – but for summer I’m definitely leaning towards the brighter jewelled varieties. I love love love the summer brights, although I am working hard to resist the urge to link them with the aesthetics in Selena Gomez’s latest video.

The best thing about Alex + Ani bracelets is that they start cheap – at €26 – so you can build up your collection from a low base. I love adding to mine every now and again (when I feel I’ve deserved it) and, unless you have very short arms, there’s virtually no limit as to how many you could stack together.
