Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s undies range for Marks & Spencer launched last season with a press preview in London that, sadly, I didn’t get to go to (woe!) where the lady herself wowed all and sundry with her passion for her lingerie designs. This season, she’s following her debut with more delicate, vintage-inspired lingerie designs that just scream Valentine’s Day*.

There’s something very Downton-esque about that long robe, although the push-up bra and knickers sets probably have their heritage in a slightly more liberated and modern era. I do, however, love the use of that minky grey-brown, which, on paper, sounds horrendous, but in practice is really beautiful and a lot more chic than plain old black (which is not that flattering on Irish skin tones anyway).

Do you like the look of the new Rosie for Autograph collection?

Prices range from €17.50 (yikes!) for a silk knicker to €30 for a silk padded bra (far better) and €80 for the silk kimono wrap. Sizes range from 30-40 A-E (and G in certain bras), 6-20 for knickers and 8-22 for kimonos and nightgowns.

* Valentine’s Day, that is, in the movies, where people go on dates and dress up in fancy underwear. Real-life Valentine’s Day, obviously, consists of takeaway and PJs in front of a movie, regardless of whether or not you’re in a relationship.
