These two occasions didn’t happen at the same time, but I just so happened to love my Friday-night outfit so much that I went for the same thing for yesterday’s Midday appearance.

(If this photograph had a caption, it would be: “I just don’t know what to do with my face.”)

My dress is from Coast, and you saw it already here; my shacket (that is honestly what it is called on the website) is from River Island and is amazing but loses pearls faster than Jennifer Hudson loses weight; my necklaces and wedges are both from Topshop, yonks ago.

Also, see how I have bare legs? I totally lost myself in the rhythms of fashion. As I was getting dressed on Friday night, y’know, January 11th, I thought to myself, “it’s spring/summer, I can totally get away with bare legs”. In January. I’m losing my mind. As it happens I wasn’t that cold because I drove to the Wright Venue and we skipped the queue because we’re slebs (not quite).

Ne-Yo was very charming and he seemed a good performer, but really the Wright Venue is not for me. It’s too packed and too easy to get lost in. Like the Labyrinth without the best part (David Bowie). Midday was fun, mind you – so much fun that I’ll be on again, wearing a totally different outfit! Thrilling, I know.
