This unladylike stance, however, was not one of them – but you have to give LiLo props for pulling out all the stops for the LA premiere of her TV movie, Liz & Dick, to which she wore a Donna Dashini gown, accessorised with a fur stole, a welcome return to her red-headed roots and a deep burgundy lip.

Snarky comments about the stark contrast between LiLo’s perfectly mono-tone face and her freckled body aside, I think this may be the best we’ve seen Lohan look in eons. (Remember when she was a lesbian? Remember all of her court appearances? Remember this?)

I think her hair is a little too red, and her copper bronzer and eyeshadow are a bit too copper, and I would like it if the dress was slightly bigger and didn’t have those horrible under-boob gaps, BUT. But. (This is a big but.) But I commend Lohan’s effort, and her del Rey-esque hairstyle, and her make-up and her not crying or smoking or looking generally cracked-out and crazy. This is a good step.

Obviously, it will be even better when her lip implants are removed.
