The palace really loves McQueen, it seems – as does Kate Winslet, seen here in a peplum skirt and jacket from the high-end label. I don’t know about you, but this feels to me like something you could buy in Warehouse. I’m not sure I’d fancy spending €1,000-plus on it. I’m also slightly disappointed that Kate chose such a work-appropriate look to accept her award; I would have liked to see her in some Mary Katrantzou, maybe – something a little more adventurous.
