Last week I took part in Xposé’s Friday Fash-off, where I butted heads with stylist Marietta Doran on who wore what well last week! Believe it or not, getting dressed for TV is the one part of my life that makes me feel like an utter fraud. I’m perfectly fine at dressing for 99% of all occasions, but threaten me with a camera and I lose all ideas of my own fashion sense. It took me about an hour to come up with this colourful combo, and I came home afterwards to clothes everywhere . . . (Also, all hail to my screengrabbing skillz, wow I look so pixelated!)

I’m wearing a vegan leather (read: pleather) jacket from Nastygal, kimono dress from Asos (last season), necklaces from H&M and glasses by Gok Wan for Specsavers. I’ve teamed these with two pairs of tights for the ultra-opaque look and (only visible on the video) a pair of KG Kurt Geiger Chelsea boots. Phew!

Here’s a close-up where I’m really bored / smug / giving Karen and Marietta the wonk-eye. But bonus! Close-up necklace detail. I bring the glamma.
