I had a great gas looking at a recap of Girls Aloud’s style over on Glamourmagazine.co.uk the other day, so when I saw this shot of Cheryl looking all coy on the cover of their December issue, I felt something akin to affection for the Geordie lass.

I think you’ll agree that, as covers go, this is fairly inoffensive. Is that pink dress slightly twee? Yes. Am I over the messy top knot? Absolutely. Are hipster cameras at an embarrassing point in their revival? Yes. But still. You know. We all like Cheryl. She’s a bit of all right.

I’m more concerned with the ideas that everyone is cheating now, I may need to lose a limb (and an eye) in order to find my confidence, and that there is an article inside Glamour that has interviewed 200 men about masturbation. I don’t think there’s anything we need to know that one man couldn’t tell us. As a palate-cleanser:
