Russian designer Lya Solis is one of the latest to launch in Ireland, online at LyaSolis.com. Her designs, to me, are kind of like a Louise Kennedy lite – all ladylike, grownup shapes and colours in simple, sophisticated fabrics. The pieces – especially the dresses – would be perfect for an office environment and especially suited to that kind of mythical day-to-night situation (do people really go out directly after work all that often anyway?!).
