If I’m going to be answering your queries, I’d best have my own answers in order, right? Here’s what I wore to Sunday brunch at the Gibson. It felt like the right just-fancy-enough occasion to debut my 3.1 Philip Lim bag, which I teamed with an opaque floral blouse and camel blazer from Zara, a pair of River Island jeans and my trusty Marni pumps from about six seasons ago, bought at a sample sale in Milan. They are the comfiest cute shoes I own, which means they get out a lot.

It’s funny how sometimes it takes photographs to make you think twice about something – looking at these, I’m really not sure I’m that enamoured with that blazer any more, which I loved for a good, long while and wore to death. I may have to pass it on the eBay chain. I also wish I had turned up my jeans – the turn-up is very now, you know.

The necklaces are a mix of random finds, while the watch is by Juicy Couture. I love it – it makes a nice change from my Michael Kors watch, which obviously has blogger kudos but is so heavy. I find I have to take it off just to type at the computer. Detail shots after the jump …
