Happy bank holiday Monday, y’all! I’ve kind of got into the rhythm of this regular posting lark – about time, wha’? – so I see no reason to let things slide because it’s a bank hollier … plus, it’ll give those of you who check out at weekends more posts to get through on Tuesday. I know, so generous!

I’ve kind of got out of the habit of posting full editorials, unless they’re exclusives by a fully Irish team that is, but this editorial in Elle‘s September issue really made me sit up and take notice (kind of like Vogue‘s did, a few months back). I don’t really have the body shape for androgynous dressing – there’s something about boobs and buttoned-up shirts that just doesn’t work – but I really love the art direction on this shoot. The model – Kelsey van Mook – is perfect, the make-up is divine, and the styling is out of this world. I love it.

Oh, and lest you think I’m stealing Elle‘s readers by posting their good bits, rest assured: September’s Elle is a doozie. It comes with an accessories supplement that’s a really good look, too, and there are some really great articles in it, including a behind-the-scenes look at stylist Catherine Baba’s wardrobe. Inspirational!
