Or, rather, sign up for The Outnet‘s updates – because that’s the only way you’ll know when their super clearance sale goes live, with up to 70% off hundreds of designer names. I’m a big Outnet fan; like big-sister site Net-a-Porter it stocks some seriously slick names at knock-down prices, and everything you order comes beautifully packaged and within about three working days, which is a big plus in my books! (I just hate waiting ages for things you’ve ordered online – it takes the “instant” out of “instant gratification” so you’re left with “gratification” which, let’s face it, sounds as if it’d make you go blind.)

Fancy a quick look at what kind of bargains you can expect? Well, provided they don’t sell out in the meantime, all of these items will be on sale, and there are some doozies!

So! Clockwise from above left, we have: Alexander McQueen dress, was €2,770 now €1,385 (I know, I know, it’s not like we’ll be getting one in every colour, but 50% off is 50% off!); Proenza Schouler ombré dress, was €1,850 now €740 (60%); Camilla Skovgaard leather sandals, were €420 now €210 (50%); Preen embellished wool-crepe dress, was €1,040 now €364 (65% off); and Alexander Wang wedge sandals, were €540 now €216 (60% discount).

I know these aren’t exactly Topshop prices, even with the discount, but it definitely makes things more affordable, and if you had a really special occasion coming up this would be the perfect opportunity to get a blow-the-budget piece of designer fashion with just a little budget-stretching. Okay, a lot – there’s no denying the fact that €1,400 on a dress is ker-ayzy but you know us fashion bitches: we crazy.

F yer I: This is not a sponsored post! I just love the Outnet, and that is a factoid. The Irish Times doesn’t do sponsored posts. If it did, I bet I’d be rolling in it*.

* I have never, not once, not ever in my life, been asked to do a sponsored post for someone. SO INSULTING.
