It was a tough slog, hanging out with the Moët crew at the Radisson Blu in Galway and keeping an eye out for stylish ladies as they sipped champagne and wound down after a hard day at the races – but someone had to do it. In this case, it was two someones: myself and Caroline Sleiman of Moët & Chandon were given the task of finding the best dressed lady in the hotel yesterday evening, and we created a shortlist of six standout entrants, the ultimate winner being Suzanne Wall (above)!

Ultimately, we were looking for someone who was elegant and timeless, but with a unique take on her dressing and someone wearing something that little bit different. Suzanne’s look stood out to me because of the fact that she was wearing navy, not black, and she had mixed high street (her top was from Asos and her skirt was by Aqua Couture) with high end (check out those Louboutins!).

I, too, was wearing Asos, with a vintage sequined jacket and my beloved Miu Miu booties, which were made by the devil incarnate, if the state of my feet at the end of the evening is anything to go by. And that photograph has just revealed to me just how much lighter my roots are and how this whole growing out my hair without dyeing it is not going well!

Suzanne walked away with a two-night stay at the Radisson plus a personalised bottle of Moët & Chandon – and if you head down to the hotel during race week you can indulge in a two-course meal with a glass of Moët for just €30. And y’all know Fash Mob loves a bargain!
